The CAG has never said that it is the exact amount. Mr Sibal should have read the report carefully,” Joshi said here while reacting to the Telecom Minister’s contention that the presumptive losses projected by the CAG was “erroneous”.

“The Srikrishna Committee report did not reflect the truth. It was prepared as per the dictates of the Government of India and Congress leaders from Andhra-Rayalaseema,” they said. They also demanded that the Central-military forces deployed in Telangana be withdrawn forthwith.

All party meet on Thursday January 6, But the TRS, TDP and BJP will not attend meeting, Ministry of Home Affairs will only hand over copies of Sri krishna Committee report to the representatives of the various political parties of Andhra Pradesh. As per Sources Center would give the political parties three weeks to study the report. The report also be made available on the public domain, to encourage a broad based discussion. After this, the government may take another three weeks to finally decide on the issue.
Sri krishna committee is expected to give various solutions and provide a strong base with statistics as well as reasoning for the Center to implement any of the solutions. The report is likely to contain a couple of suggestions including retaining the united Andhra Pradesh by providing Constitutional guarantees for spending in backward regions on the lines of Bodoland Territorial Council and carving out Telangana and building separate capitals for both the states leaving Hyderabad as a union territory.
